Low PIM connectors are significant for modern singal transmission. PIM is for Passive Intermodulation which is a problem happening largely in passive devices such as attennas, connectors, and cables. The nonlinearities of a wireless system's mechanism generate interfering singals. N plug clamp connector for 1/2" superflex cable is made of brass with tri-alloy plating. Center pin is silver plating over brass. The connector is designed as a 50 ohm low PIM connector with 1.2 VSWR Max. through 11 GHz. 1/2" superflex cable is designed with an inner conductor and a corrugated outer conductor.

The performance of 2.2-5 connector is with VSWR 1.15 @ 3GHz and 1.25 through 6GHz, and has a dynamic PIM stability of -160dBc. There are different interfaces for TFT402.
